How Others Have Been Helped
I was in a very bad state! I was a full-time athlete/professional tennis player and then full-time coach, and at one point I couldn’t stand on my feet pain free anymore. At that time I met Tom and he told me about veganism. I was familiar with the term veganism but, knew little. He explained that I should just eat bananas for a few days and my foot pain would be gone. To say the least I was skeptical. I thought I could never do that. However, I was so desperate that after a few weeks I decided to give it a try! And guess what? My foot pain was gone almost completely. All the inflammation was gone, out of my body! It is incredible how whole plant-based foods let the body heal itself. Plant-based foods are what our cells need, when we supply the right foods we experience healing in every part of our body! Now, at age 74, I still teach and play tennis, work out 7 days per week. I also teach all my tennis students and the general public of the benefits of adhering to a vegan lifestyle in my vegan lifestyle plan, outlined in “The Transitional Vegan 30 LOVE Diet” and “the Totally Raw 30 Love Diet”.
I feel I am living proof that a plant based lifestyle is the nutritional way to avoid pharmaceuticals, surguries and a host of diet related diseases.
I continue to research and find valuable information to pass on to those bright and interested souls that simply want to find a simple path to good health. We are all human and the common denominators that bring us together are based in immutable natural law.
For Years I Thought I Was Doing Pretty Well…
Until I Discovered The Flaw!
For years I thought I was doing pretty well health wise, shopping at the health food store and trying to eat organic as much as possible. Yet, I was making unwise choices, unbeknownst to me at the time.
The Flaw: Not everything at the health food store or at Whole Foods is a wise choice. Because of being programmed by the advertising hype, designed to make money, not to create healthy people, I was fooled like everyone else, including other nutritionists, thinking that animal based foods are necessary.
They are not only unnecessary, all you have to do is look around at the state of health here in the U.S. to rightly conclude, that the overuse of animal-based foods are downright harmful.”

And Suddenly, The Light Switched On.
“After researching and studying books by Dr. Norman Walker, Dr. Colin Campbell, Dr. Doug Graham, Dr. Neal Barnard (President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine), Dr. Bernard Jensen, Rip Esselstyn (former world class Triathlete) and Jethro Kloss, pioneers of healthy living and peak physical performance, I began to see the light.
These men had the guts to go against the grain, and I’m thankful they did, because the benefits I’ve received from following their advice has been tremendous. The light came in the form of the vegan diet and at the age of 58 in April of 2008 my vegan journey began.
I came to fully realize that animal based foods are not only unnecessary but when overused they have a very detrimental effect on the human body. Even when used in moderation they do not promote health as well as their nutrient dense, plant-based counterparts and over time will create disease.
When a wide variety of fruits and vegetables are a part of the daily diet every nutrient needed by the human body is easily and readily obtained. The U.S is the sickest country in the world, diabetes, cancer and heart disease, plus a plethora of other diseases are rampant and out of control. The overuse of animal-based foods is the leading cause of these diseases.”

Most people have a fear of giving up meat because they think like the mainstream of society, it’s just too difficult or I won’t get the nutrition I need, or I won’t feel full.
Of course, this is simply not the truth. Combined with the overwhelming scientific evidence, you just can not wonder anymore.
Can A Vegan Diet Prevent and Reverse Other Diseases?
Based on studies from a 20 year research project. Dr. T Colin Cambell, states emphatically, “What made this project especially remarkable is that, among the many associations that are relevant to diet and disease, so many pointed to the same finding: people who ate the most animal-based foods got the most chronic disease. Even relatively small intakes of animal-based food were associated with adverse effects. People who ate the most plant-based foods were the healthiest and tended to avoid chronic disease.”Even leading U.S. health care provider Kaiser Permanente, states “Healthy eating may be best achieved with a plant-based diet, which we define as a regimen that encourages whole, plant-based foods and discourages meats, dairy products, and eggs as well as all refined and processed foods … Physicians should consider recommending a plant-based diet to all their patients, especially those with high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or obesity.”

Every day, nearly 2,600 Americans die of some type of heart disease, Fortunately, for most people, preventing coronary heart disease is as simple as eliminating animal products, eating a healthy plant-based diet, exercising, and avoiding cigarette smoking. But beyond prevention, a plant-based diet is the only treatment that has been scientifically proven to reverse heart disease. The high fiber content of plant-based foods also helps to slow the absorption of cholesterol. Animal products contain no fiber.
